- הֶלְקָא, חֶילְ׳f. (preced.) 1) same, lot, field. Targ. Prov. 23:10.Pl. חֶלְקָתָא. Targ. Mic. 2:4 חֶלְקַתְהוֹן (Var. חֻלַּקִתְּהוֹן, ed. Lag. חַקְלַתְהוֹן; h. text שָׂדֵינוּ). 2) share, portion, ḥelka, a market term for a certain portion of meat; cmp. אוּזְיָא. Bets.29a.
